Prominent DJs and producers, such as Paul Woolford and Ralph Lawson, have established their studios in Leeds, which was crowned the UK\u2019s clubbing capital during the 1990s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Punk_Rock\"><\/span>Punk Rock<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Leeds became a hub for influential punk rock bands like <em>The Mekons<\/em>, <em>Gang of Four<\/em>, and <em>Delta 5<\/em> in the late 1970s. These bands shaped the post-punk sound.
